Performance
The Jeep Renegade is offered with two powertrain options: a turbocharged 1.4L 4-cylinder that mates to a 6-speed manual transmission or a turbocharged 2.4L 4-cylinder that mates to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Regardless of which engine you choose, you’ll enjoy quick acceleration for merging, passing, and smooth shifting.

The Jeep Renegade offers seating for five on cloth upholstery, with leather upholstery optional. Both the front and back seats are supportive and provide ample headroom and legroom, ensuring that even tall adult passengers enjoy long-distance comfort. Heated and power-adjustable seating and a heated steering wheel are also available to enhance the comfort further.
All Jeep Renegade models come with split-folding rear seats to configure the space for both passengers and cargo. With the seats folded, there’s 50.8 cubic feet of cargo space, and the folding front-passenger seat accommodates longer or awkwardly shaped cargo.
Technology
Despite its rugged appeal, the Jeep Renegade is equipped with a long list of standard technology features. A 5-inch touchscreen Uconnect® infotainment system with Bluetooth® connectivity is included, which features a straightforward menu and rapid response times, as well as physical controls for redundant functions. This system can be upgraded to a 7-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, which gives you virtually endless media and entertainment options.
A rearview camera comes standard, but plenty of advanced safety features are available. Blind-Spot Monitoring, Active Lane Keep Assist, Rear Parking Sensors, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking are just a few of the options, which work to monitor the perimeter of your vehicle and alert you to potential collisions. Some of these features can also apply the brakes or gently steer in an effort to avoid a collision as well.
