For example, if you want to jet around from worksite to worksite with minimal interruptions, the EcoDiesel engine is a great option. Diesel fuel is denser than traditional fuel and therefore burns slower and lasts longer, helping you cruise past gas stations on your way to your next thrilling destination.

Built to Tow with Ease

You need your next truck to deliver impressive towing capabilities, and the 2020 Ram 1500 Classic rises to the occasion. When properly equipped, this pickup can tow a maximum of 12,750 pounds, meaning you can haul the following:

• A 25-foot-long camper for a weekend camping trip with your family
• A large boat to the lake for a relaxing afternoon on the water
• A 2-horse trailer to an out-of-town show
• Heavy machinery to lend a hand at your worksite

Since the 1500 Classic has enough muscle to haul heavy-duty items, you’ll be happy to have Trailer Sway Control. This feature provides braking at your individual wheels to provide stability and control around every twist and turn in the road.

Room for All Your Gear

In addition to three engine options, you’ll also be given three cargo box options to choose from in the 1500 Classic. If you’re looking to bring around camping gear or smaller equipment, consider either the 5-foot, 7-inch bed, or 6-foot, 4-inch bed options. If instead you need more length to fit lumber and building material, opt for the 8-foot-long cargo box.

Your desired cargo bed can be fitted with a class exclusive RamBox® cargo management system. This feature places two cargo boxes on either side of your bed, without compromising width, so you can stow smaller items with ease. This feature is also drainable, if you want to turn them into iceboxes when camping or tailgating a hockey game.
