Both engines are connected with a nine-speed automatic transmission for either the Front Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive (4WD). The 2018 Ford Escape has four trim levels and boasts standard features such as cruise control, air-conditioning, automatic headlights, and a height adjustable driver seat. The Escape does have a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, a CD player and a USB port as well as a 4.2-inch central display. The higher trim levels for the Escape include a rear center armrest, heated front seats, keyless entry and ignition, and remote start with a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
